Welcome to the Housing Toolbox for Massachusetts Communities!

This site is an update of a previous site developed by the National Housing Conference in collaboration with the Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP) and the Citizens’ Housing and Planning Association (CHAPA).

This toolbox was created to provide easy access to information about the housing development process. It is intended mainly for those directly working for or serving municipalities. Housing advocates, non-profits, and developers will also find much of the information and tools useful as they work to create affordable housing.

In this section, there are targeted suggestions for resources and guides to look at based on your role. You can also search directly in the Resource section for tools, reports, and links related to all things housing planning and development.
